VAICACAO is gently roasted, ground to a paste in a stone mill and then formed into blocks. We invite you to enjoy our cacao with others in a ceremonial context or to integrate it into your individual practice.

Origin:

The beans for this cacao come from the San Fernando Farm on the slopes of the `Cordillera del Balsamo' mountain range in El Salvador. The cacao trees grow here between fragrant mahogany and cedar. The team of six is part of our cooperative, which is committed to sustainable and ethical production.

Preparation:

Chop the cacao and dissolve in hot (not boiling) water. Add spices (ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cayenne pepper) and sweeteners (honey, dates, coconut blossom sugar) to taste.  Whisk by hand or use a blender to create a foamy, creamy texture.

Recommended amount:

Doctors and nutrition experts recommend 10-15g for daily use. A ceremonial dose is traditionally 30-42g, but consuming such a large amount more than once a week is not recommended.

Enjoy VAICACAO sip by sip and let the cacao work its magic.
