VAICACAO is gently roasted, ground to a paste in a stone mill and then formed into blocks. We invite you to enjoy our cacao with others in a ceremonial context or to integrate it into your individual practice.

Origin:

This precious and rare cacao comes from a collective of around 100 farmers working less than 250 hectares of land in the Comalcalco region of the Mexican state of Tabasco. Working a 100% agroforestry system, with a balanced shade-tree cover of around 40%. The plantations are located at very low altitude, between 0 and 20 meters above sea level, typical of this region. The beans come from Revival Cacao: a project that brings together small local realities in Comalcalco, guardians of ancestral varieties typical of the Mesoamerican tradition.

Preparation:

Chop the cacao and dissolve in hot (not boiling) water. Add spices (ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cayenne pepper) and sweeteners (honey, dates, coconut blossom sugar) to taste.  Whisk by hand or use a blender to create a foamy, creamy texture.

Recommended amount:

Doctors and nutrition experts recommend 10-15g for daily use. A ceremonial dose is traditionally 30-42g, but consuming such a large amount more than once a week is not recommended.

Enjoy VAICACAO sip by sip and let the cacao work its magic.
