VAICACAO is gently roasted, ground to a paste in a stone mill and then formed into blocks. We invite you to enjoy our cacao with others in a ceremonial context or to integrate it into your individual practice.

Origin:

This speciality cacao comes from the Nueva Guinea plantations of the Ingemann Family in the Región Autónoma de la Costa Caribe Sur, Nicaragua. This humid, tropical area is rich in natural shade, and characterized by abundant rainfall and low altitudes ideal conditions for cacao cultivation. The project promotes sustainable agricultural practices and agroforestry systems that contribute to the reforestation of the territory: together with the producers, more than one million cacao trees have been planted, strengthening the resilience of local ecosystems and supporting rural communities.

Preparation:

Chop the cacao and dissolve in hot (not boiling) water. Add spices (ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cayenne pepper) and sweeteners (honey, dates, coconut blossom sugar) to taste.  Whisk by hand or use a blender to create a foamy, creamy texture.

Recommended amount:

Doctors and nutrition experts recommend 10-15g for daily use. A ceremonial dose is traditionally 30-42g, but consuming such a large amount more than once a week is not recommended.

Enjoy VAICACAO sip by sip and let the cacao work its magic.
