VAICACAO is gently roasted, ground to a paste in a stone mill and then formed into blocks. We invite you to enjoy our cacao with others in a ceremonial context or to integrate it into your individual practice.

Origin:

The beans for this cacao come from a single farm in the Lempa River Valley in El Salvador, where they grow alongside coconuts and plantains. The team of eight is part of our cooperative leading the return of sustainable cacao farming in the country.

Preparation:

Chop the cacao and dissolve in hot (not boiling) water. Add spices (ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cayenne pepper) and sweeteners (honey, dates, coconut blossom sugar) to taste.  Whisk by hand or use a blender to create a foamy, creamy texture.

Recommended amount:

Doctors and nutrition experts recommend 10-15g for daily use. A ceremonial dose is traditionally 30-42g, but consuming such a large amount more than once a week is not recommended.

Flavor profile: Nuts, honey, citrus notes

Enjoy VAICACAO sip by sip and let the cocoa work its magic.
