VAICACAO is gently roasted, ground to a paste in a stone mill and then formed into blocks. We invite you to enjoy our cacao with others in a ceremonial context or to integrate it into your individual practice.

Origin:

The beans for this cacao come from El Vado, a small area in the municipality of Tuzantàn, Chiapas, Mexico. The El Vado cacao farmers' cooperative is made up of 14 cacao-growing families who work to protect nature in their growing area by using a regenerative agroforestry system and avoiding the use of synthetic fertilisers, pesticides and herbicides. The cocoa grows on the slopes of the Sierra Madre at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level.

Preparation:

Chop the cacao and dissolve in hot (not boiling) water. Add spices (ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cayenne pepper) and sweeteners (honey, dates, coconut blossom sugar) to taste.  Whisk by hand or use a blender to create a foamy, creamy texture.

Recommended amount:

Doctors and nutrition experts recommend 10-15g for daily use. A ceremonial dose is traditionally 30-42g, but consuming such a large amount more than once a week is not recommended.

Enjoy VAICACAO sip by sip and let the cacao work its magic.
